This year we went from a base near Aldersley Junction run by Anglo Welsh, perhaps a fleet just taken over, although I am unable to get any details about this. The boat was called PENNANT, we did think it was blue but the slide scan of Mike in the lock at Chester and my photos clearly show standard Anglo Welsh colours. If anybody reading this can fill in the details , please mail the Webmaster.

Two sets of photographs of mine have been found in an Album clearly anoted "1987 Radio Club Trip" with PENNANT all the way to Ellesmere Port, an out and back trip from Aldersley Junction. This is what sparked the (another) final revision of the year date of our first and second trips.
